Peak WiFi Needs Your Support!
Over 3 years ago I built a permitted internet repeater on my rural property for personal use and connected it to the fiber optic lines that run through the Central Coast. Shortly thereafter I began receiving requests from nearby friends and neighbors to connect to my tower. I began placing additional WiFi antennas on the repeater, hired some local tech savvy friends, and Peak WiFi was born.
As the company has grown, it has become necessary to reclassify the personal tower at my house to commercial use. This requires a hearing process with the County and some paperwork. I have a neighbor who has learned of this and is opposed to the reclassification even though the tower has been in place for over 3 years and is fully permitted.
In order to maintain our premier service, Peak WiFi needs your support, the County needs to know that we are providing a desired service to the community and the hardships we all faced before Peak WiFi came about. Myself and my team have worked tirelessly to get everyone in the South County connected and provide outstanding support wherever we can. It is our hope to be able to continue this community service for years to come.
There is a hearing scheduled this Friday, February 16th at 9:00 AM in the Board of Supervisor Chambers at 1055 Monterey St., on the corner of Monterey and Santa Rosa, in downtown SLO. We need to show the County that we have supporters for the service we are providing our community, if you are able to attend, we would love to see you there!
