On July 16, 2020,  the LMUSD Board of Education took action to require distance learning for the start of the 20-21 school year.

Students need adequate internet access to successfully distance learn. The key to distance learning is the ability to access the classroom virtually – via the internet. If internet access is not available to our students, a digital divide is created.

“Without equitable access to distance learning technology while students are at home, California risks exacerbating education inequality across the state.” – EdSource

“With the support of our community, local businesses, and neighboring cities, WE can offer WiFi access to families who are struggling with inadequate to no internet access.” - Lan George, Arroyo Grande City Councilmember

Peak WiFi is delighted to be involved in the growth of our students by providing free internet to our community in support of the "REACH 2 TEACH" initiative started by Councilmember Lan George.

Peak WiFi is a proud Reach 2 Teach partner exploring opportunities to work with the cities of Arroyo Grande and Grover Beach to provide wireless connections at various public locations in the near future.

“Having convenient free access to the internet for our students will be crucial in their learning process and achievement in life. Peak WiFi is proud to be a partner in this worthy endeavor and grateful to our community for including us”
